Good morning everyone. I hope the weekend has treated you well. A few weeks ago I took my son to see Monster Jam. It was a good time, although the arena seems much smaller than it was when I was a kid, even though it’s the same place. The kiddo did his best to behave, but it was well past his bedtime and he started to wear his exhaustion on his sleeve as the night went on. When it was over, we met the drivers and they all signed his flag. It was a great time and I can’t wait to do it again.
Up for sale on my website, My novella, Expiration of Sentence, is available with limited stock. It will come with everything pictured(the circle sticker design is random). The book will remain exclusive to my webshop and conventions until the fall. It will NOT be available through retailers until then. The ebook remains to be decided, that will be dependent on the continued performance of The Conservator’s Collection. Here’s the bundle
There isn’t much new going on, aside from this HUGE piece of news. My Short Story collection, Woe To Those Who Dwell on Earth, has been nominated for a splatterpunk award in the best collection category. Im absolutely shocked, and honored. Thank you all to the readers who voted me in, it wouldn’t be possible without you all. Congrats to all nominees, and best of luck!
I’m writing the next book, but I don’t know when that will come out. I also plan to do a colab with another author, though we haven’t done anything more than talk about it yet. I have a surprise (but not really a surprise lined up for December. If you enjoy my writing you can probably guess.
My good friend Jay Bower has two treats for you, the first, his new book, The Terror of Willow Falls is up for preorder, I’m about a third of the way through, and this might be his best book yet!
He also has made his novella from The Conservator’s Collection, Eyebiter’s Revenge, available for purchase as a standalone, exclusive to his website and conventions.
And for those of you who like discounted ebooks, John Durgin has a great sale going on for Inside the Devil’s Nest!
Reading: I’m currently Reading The Terror of Willow Falls, by Jay Bower, and Daphne, by Josh Malerman. Both excellent books, and I highly recommended them.
Playing: I’m still making my way through tears of the kingdom on my switch, and I’m occasionally playing HellDivers 2. Check them both out, good stuff.
That wraps things up for this newsletter. Thank you all for sticking around, I hope to see you all at various conventions soon!
